A sharp recap of the 2010s most iconic pop culture moments—from the 2017 MET Gala bathroom antics to Kendall Jenner’s infamous Pepsi ad and the rise and fall of Victoria’s Secret. The Pampler serves it with bite and cultural insight.
1.2017 MET Gala

It was lit. No literally, everyone lit one up in the women’s bathroom and posted it on social media. A true fashion moment if you ask us, but some art enthusiasts might disagree.
2.Kim and Kanye on Vogue

The one where Anna Wintour slapped these two on the cover and told the world to deal with it.
3.Alexis Neiers's Voicemail To Nancy Jo Sales

In 2010, Vanity Fair came out with one of its most iconic articles, “The Suspects Wore Louboutins,” unfolding the story of Valley kids robbing the homes of their favorite celebrities. The most memorable moment for us was the voicemail Alexis Neiers left for Nancy Jo Sales to question her journalistic integrity and let her know that she wore four-inch little brown Bebe shoes to court, not six-inch Louboutins.
4.Spring Breakers

The movie that finished whatever job Disney Channel started and possibly broke James Franco.
5.Death of Modeling Industry

Somewhere along the lines, model agents just said fuck it and let anyone with rich parents become America’s next top model. Ever since then, the complaints about the modelling industry not offering career longevity or a livable rage significantly decreased. Now that’s what we call problem solving!
6.Solange Beating up Jay Z after Met Gala

People don’t talk about this elevator footage as much as they should; until archeologists discover the tape with the sound, this will remain to be one of the greatest mysteries of our time.
7.Amanda Bynes’s Very Public Mental Break

Remember when she called everyone ugly and asked Drake to murder her vagina? How can we forget…
8.Leo Finally Won an Oscar

He crawled his way to it in everyone’s least favorite DiCaprio movie. Contrary to popular belief, he did not actually fight the bear- his real blood sacrifice to The Academy can be observed in Django Unchained.
9.Miley’s Bangers Era

This truly inspirational era taught young girls what it means to be in line to get a line. Through Miley’s art, thousands were able to embrace their inner thots and grind on rapey men. We thank her for her service and art.
10.Kendall’s Pepsi Ad

In a world where ads are known for their exquisite writing and accuracy when making a political statement, this particular one failed to deliver. This ad was probably the reason why Kendall Jenner was named the highest paid model of the year in 2017.
